Time Management

I'm an amazing procrastinator. I can avoid things right up until the last minute without breaking a sweat and this does my head in as it's not always the best approach to a situation. Not to mention, but I will, it does my wife's head in too.

All I want to do is be 100% productive. So, the solution, after quitting alcohol now 9 months ago, was I really wanted to focus on getting my shit together. I have been working hard at time management in a way that I find helps me get everything done. Nearly every task I have, I'll give myself a time limit of 1hr, depending on the task. So, hoovering, washing up, sorting out the clothes etc, by doing this I always aim to have everything done 11am or 12. Then the next 3hrs until I have to pick up my children is mine.
Even with my hobbies of art and writing, I'll give myself an hour limit. This works very well if I'm not enjoying myself, it means it'll be over shortly. If I'm happy though, I'll gladly run over the time. But time management has been a massive help to me with my writing and art.
I'd love to know how other people cope with these issues, my wife swears by lists. But I'm just not consistent enough to stick to it 😆
